This semester has started in full force for me. I am in my teaching practicum course, as well. So, I have been trying to get myself organized. I have had to make some adjustments with my work schedule so that I could have a better fit between my school, work, and family schedules. I am now working weekends.
I am getting more comfortable with the blogs. As I mentioned earlier, this is a new experience for me. But I love challenges and new experiences. That is a wonderful way to learn new things!!

I am also doing the practicum in the Dallas campus. Even though I been teaching for a while is amazing how different is to teach the same concepts to a different audience, in a different environment, with different objectives, curriculum. Good luck!
Hi Kim,
I am also trying to learn this system. Good luck!
Hi Kim
It sounds like your schedule is quite full. I have great admiration for professionals who can work pediatrics. I tried many years ago, but I guest it was not my calling. Working at Texas Children's is an awesome job. Good luck with all your classes.
I was signed up for the practicum in Dallas but Dr. Langford ask me to put it off until Spring.
It's a good feeling to be in a class with so many educators. I would give anything to be able to teach even in a hospital setting.
I know about the job shifting. I work agency and no longer take long contracts, just per diem to accommondate school schedules.
Katherine are you in Dallas or Houston? I too will be starting practicum in the Spring.
Graciela and Kim you will have to provide words of wisdom (pearls if you will).
You do sound busy Kim! I can relate as can many others I am sure... as the semester is starting to truly be in "full force" I think we are all trying to keep all our balls in the air while we juggle :O
I have felt challenged with learning how to "blog" and "wiki" but am also excited as I can see endless ways I can use these with my students too!
Thanks for the invite to your blog. Is green your favorite color?
Would love to hear more about practicum... mine is in Spring also
